Woope is built around interests, communities and projects instead of an advertising feed. This page explains the mechanics behind that in plain language: what decides what you see, how moderation works, what happens to your data, and where money in the product does and does not reach.

If something here stops matching what the product actually does, tell us at support@woope.eu - this page is meant to be checked against the app, not taken on faith.

No ads, and no advertising trackers - the Privacy Policy has the specifics of what we do and do not collect.

The ranking that decides what shows up in your feed weighs your interests, activity and engagement. It does not have a line item for "who paid the most."

Woopies - Woope's own currency - are earned only through activity and can never be bought with real money. Earned Woopies can be spent on Promotions: a temporary visibility boost for a post, project or profile. That is the one way anything on Woope buys extra reach, and it costs Woopies you earned, never cash - see the Terms of Service for how Promotions work and what they do not buy.

Community rules are set by their owners, visible to anyone before they join, and can never be looser than the Terms of Service or the Community Guidelines.

We do not sell personal information to third parties, and we do not run advertising trackers.

Data is collected and processed only where it is needed to run the Platform, keep it secure, or meet a legal obligation - the Privacy Policy lists what is collected, why, how long it is kept, and the one place a hashed IP address is stored.

You can export your data, manage your account, and request deletion from Settings at any time. For what deleting your account does and does not remove, read the Privacy Policy before you do it.

Woope requires an account holder to be at least 13. Date of birth is collected at signup and checked on our servers, not only in the browser that submitted it - only the day and month are ever shown to other people, and only if the account switches that on.

An account found to belong to someone under the minimum age is restricted or removed. If you believe an age-verification action on your account was wrong, contact support@woope.eu.

Reports go to our moderators through the report option on posts, comments, discussions, projects and profiles. Some enforcement is automatic - rate limits and spam detection can act without a person having looked at the content first.

The Community Guidelines set out what is and is not allowed in detail; the short version is no hate speech, harassment, illegal content, spam, malware or phishing, exploitation of minors, or impersonation.

Content that sexualises a minor is removed on sight, with no warning and no appeal, and reported where the law requires it. Everything else gets a proportionate response - see the Guidelines for how that scales from a warning to a ban.

A report reaches a moderator, not just the person you reported. What we weigh: how severe the violation is, who it could harm, whether the account has done this before, and the context around it.

Depending on what we find, the outcome ranges from leaving the content up, to removing it, restricting what the account can do, suspending it, or a permanent ban. You can appeal a decision by writing to support@woope.eu - see the Terms of Service for how that works.

Every account can turn on two-factor authentication in Settings at no cost, and we recommend it. Access to the database is restricted by row-level security policies scoped to what each request actually needs, rather than one shared set of application credentials.

No online service can guarantee absolute security, and we do not claim to. If you find a vulnerability, report it to support@woope.eu instead of exploiting it - see the Terms of Service for our commitment to good-faith reporters.

This page does not currently publish moderation-action or report-volume statistics. As the moderation team and tooling around it grow, we intend to add real numbers here rather than a promise about future numbers - if that matters to you, ask at support@woope.eu and we will tell you honestly what does and does not exist yet.
